Product details
The MAX30102 Pulse Oximeter and Heart Rate Sensor Module is an integrated optical biosensor designed to measure heart rate and estimate blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂). It combines red and infrared LEDs, a photodetector, optical components, and low-noise signal-processing circuitry with ambient light cancellation for reliable optical sensing.
The module communicates with microcontrollers through an I²C interface, making it suitable for Arduino, ESP32, and other compatible embedded systems. Its low-power design and software-controlled shutdown mode make it ideal for wearable health-monitoring devices and portable electronics projects.
The MAX30102 features a compact design with an integrated optical cover to help reduce light interference. It is widely used in heart-rate monitoring, pulse oximeter prototypes, fitness trackers, and biomedical engineering projects.
Note: This module is intended for development and educational applications and is not a substitute for a certified medical device.
